On paid plans
Everything a one-person shoot needs is free: ideas, beats, script, storyboard, shots, publishing and stats. Creator adds the AI helpers, take marking, guest links and room to work; Team adds working together, a few workspaces and the crew-and-logistics layer — cast, crew, shoot days, gear, props, risk and camera metadata; Studio adds more workspaces and the highest limits. Paid plans are connected by hand for now: we arrange the payment with you personally.
- AI generation — Generate beats, voiceover script and storyboard right inside CoTube, on the service's models and with your own instructions for each step. Without it the manual route stays open: copy the prompt into your own AI chat and paste the answer back.
- Sequences — Group scenes into story lines — the top level of the hierarchy, for pieces longer than a single video.
- Takes — Script supervision: every take with its rating, audio/focus/exposure marks and timecodes, so the editor knows which one was the keeper.
- Camera metadata — Lens, frame rate, shutter, aperture, ISO and white balance right on the shot, so the crew and the editor read one document instead of a separate camera log.
- Time of day — Plan beats and shots around the light — day, night, sunrise, golden hour — so the schedule follows the sun instead of fighting it.
- Actual beat duration — Record how long each beat really runs after the edit and compare it with the plan — see where the cut drifted from the script.
- Shooting days — Plan the shoot by day: what gets filmed, who is called and when — the call sheet the crew works from.
- Location scouting — Coordinates, filming permits, owner contacts and indoor/outdoor — everything you need when a location is scouted before the shoot rather than found on the day.
- Collaborators — Invite people into a workspace and set what each of them may do — an editor, a camera operator, a second writer working on the same projects, under the workspace plan and without a subscription of their own.
- Guest access — A time-limited link to one project or the whole workspace: a guest views and comments, changes nothing and spends no AI. No sign-up needed, and access can be revoked in one click.
- Crew — Who works on the project and on which shooting day: roles, rates, contacts and day assignments.
- Cast — Actors and characters, with the scenes each of them is in — casting and call planning in one place.
- Equipment — Workspace gear catalogue and per-project assignment: what you own, what is rented, what goes to which shoot.
- Props — Prop catalogue and what each scene needs, so nothing is missing on the day.
- Risks and safety — A register of what can go wrong on set — weather, permits, stunts — with the mitigation and who owns it.
