Guide
How CoTube follows the route a video actually takes — idea, beats, shots, shoot day, cut, publish — and what each part of it is for.
- How CoTube works — CoTube follows the route a video actually takes — idea, project, beats, shots, shoot, cut, publish — and this page walks it stage by stage.
- Your dashboard — The dashboard is the first page after you sign in. It answers one question — what needs you next — and how its lists are sorted and cut is up to you.
- Ideas — The idea backlog is where a video starts: everything you might make, in one place, structured so that picking the next one is a decision instead of a search.
- Beats, scenes and shots — A project splits into beats, which carry the meaning, and shots, which make the cut — kept apart so the script and the shot list can change independently.
- Shooting — Shooting mode with the prompter, takes, cast, crew, gear and locations — everything for the day the camera is actually on.
- Editing and publishing — The last stretch of the route: footage becomes a cut, the cut goes out, and the numbers come back next to the plan that produced them.
